Are you 28+ weeks’ pregnant?

• Are you worried or anxious about your pregnancy or birth?

• Would you like someone to go along to midwife appointments or antenatal classes with?

• Would you like a volunteer to accompany you in labour?

The Bradford Doulas can match you up with your very own trained volunteer. Your volunteer doula will chat through everything to do with your pregnancy and birth and can:

• Help you make decisions and plan for birth
• Come to midwife and GP appointments with you
• Show you ways to relax and feel in control during labour
• Stay with you during the birth and after to encourage skin to skin and breastfeed at birth
• Help you access other support services

…and so much more. Support is provided six weeks before birth, during birth and six weeks afterwards, through home visits, over the phone and via video calls.
