Freedom Community Project
Freedom was established in 2008 to support people who are struggling and living in poverty within our local communities. Our mission is to work with people, helping them to make positive changes for themselves and their families. We offer free benefit and debt advice and mental health support. We have face to face support at our centres located in Bolsover, Clowne, Shirebrook, Renishaw, Staveley, South Normanton and surrounding areas, as well as virtual centres across the country. At Bolsover we provide a low-cost weekly food shop at our Stepping Stone Food Pantry and food parcels are also available at all of our support centres and main foodbank.
